Ryan Lubbers--Co Director 
Ryan is an experiential educator committed to environmental education and sustainability. With a Master's in Environmental Studies from Prescott College and over ten years experience in Environmental and Experiential Education, Ryan is excited to be a part of Mountain Roots from the ground up.

Ali Holroyd Lien--Co Director
Ali is excited to be launching Mountain Roots, Inc. and feels blessed to have such great opportunities and connections with the Hickory Nut Forest community. Mountain Roots is a dream come true for this adventurer and educator. Ali is an adjunct professor with Brevard College’s Wilderness Leadership & Experiential Education (WLEE) department and is a graduate advisor for Prescott College’s Master of Arts Program in Adventure Educaiton. Ali’s been an instructor / trip leader with over ten programs on both the east and west coast, including two years as an Americorps volunteer in Kentucky.  Her hobbies and interests include long distance backpacking, rock climbing, pottery, and spending time with her growing family.
