OUR PROGRAMS and LOCATION

Eco & Art Adventures--Mountain Roots offers opportunities for community and school groups in the Southeast to learn more about organic gardening, renewable  energy, and other sustainable practices. Combine this educational time with a naturalist hike, stream exploration, or artistic endeavor. Be sure to check out our upcoming workshops too. We are excited to be hosting two weeks of pottery camp this year. More information coming soon on our Eco & Art Adventures page.

Outdoor Learning Center--Mountain Roots is a non-profit experiential educational center offering programs to students of all ages. Day field trips are available with a wide variety of activities to choose from. 

Service Opportunities--We currently offer supervised service projects for local groups seeking to lend a hand. Most service projects involve physical labor including gardening, pruning apple trees, trail work, and other on-site community projects like dry wall stacking.
