Mountain Roots offers a series of programs for youth, teens, and families to get
connected to the natural world. Join us for these 5 programs to focus on Farms,
Forests, Fun, Friends (serving Friends), and Forever. Or...design your own
outing. Let us take you on the adventure of a lifetime--exploring local trails,
creeks, and mountains while learning more about yourself, the earth, and
Mountain Roots is hosting open-to-the-public Roots Adventures programs in Henderson County throughout 2014. Join us for a Fun Adventure in DuPont State Forest for a waterfall hike and opportunity for the whole family to test their hand at a little navigation. Maps, compasses, and healthy snacks provided for all. Pre-registration is required and only $5 per person (max $10/family)!

One of Mountain Roots' longest standing programs is a week long
leadership camp for teenagers in western North Carolina. Contact us to
plan your leadership program today. The possibilities are endless--
a hike on a nearby trail with substantial journaling, a retreat at Laughing
Waters Retreat Center, or a week-long backpacking trip. We'll help you to
assess your group's needs and plan the ultimate program!
