Mountain Roots, Inc. is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. Your donation assists Mountain Roots in fulfilling our mission-to provide discovery and outdoor learning experiences with a focus on environmentally responsible and community-centered living.
This year our goal is to raise $5,000 from our annual fundraising drive. This drive assists in providing scholarships so that a wide range of individuals and groups can attend Mountain Roots programs, and aids the growth of our new programs--including Mountain Roots Day Camp and Outdoor Education programs in 2018 for hundreds of families and thousands of students.

Our Experiential Programs fall under three main categories, and we hope to grow all three throughout 2018-2019.
Outdoor Education School Programs
Our outdoor education programs, are some of the most exciting endeavors we've ever embraced. We're thankful for the opportunity to teach kids outside nearly every week all year! We are excited about the prospect of expanding our Outdoor Education programs to new schools in 2018.
Mountain Roots Day Camp
The growth of our Day Camp program is one of the highlights we experienced in 2017, and in 2018 we are excited to offer three weeks of camp in Fletcher, NC as well as in Brevard, NC. During Summer 2017 we were able to provide scholarships over $7500 in scholarships and we look forward to helping even more families that deserve our quality camp experience in 2018.
School, Community, and Corporate Retreats
We plan to continue to expand our retreat offerings for schools, community and corporate groups over the next couple years. We provide opportunities for groups to engage in more leadership and community development. Our facilitators provide quality growth experiences that are designed to meet each individual group's needs and work towards creating action steps to meet necessary changes.
