Mountain Roots Outdoor Education programs help K-8 students develop healthy relationships with themselves, others, and the natural environment through active play and learning in an outdoor setting. Our programs provide intentional opportunities for students to learn in an experiential way during their school day. Our interdisciplinary curriculum enhances classroom learning and has two main components:

TLC lessons encourage respect and help teach students to work together as a community. Lessons include (but are not limited to):
Environmental Education lessons use hands-on activities to foster in students curiosity about the natural world and a deeper sense of place. Lessons include (but are not limited to):
