A Word From Our Participants...

"The Women's Roots Retreat is one of the highlights of my year--I wouldn't miss it! It's always a great chance to get away, enjoy some intentionally creative workshops and the company of some great ladies".

--Women's Roots participant November 2013

"My daughter loved making new friends and seeing the clay come to life at pottery camp. Her excitement about what she created filled the house for weeks." --Pottery camp parent, July 2013

Women's Roots Retreats

To kick off fall and spring, Mountain Roots has traditionally hosted an art and nature retreat for women of all ages. These inspirational events are rejuvenating and a necessary break for so many of us. Enjoy your natural surroundings and the community of other creative women. Join us for our upcoming retreat and bring a friend! We are still working on our structure and dates for 2016. Stay tuned to our Facebook page or check back here for more on the date and workshops to be offered.

Other Art Based Retreats

Interested in planning an art based retreat with a different spin? We'd be happy to help you out. We've offered Storytelling;

Healthy, local, organic cooking workshops; Canning (food preservation) 101; & Backcountry cooking workshops in the past. If you'd like to plan your own art adventure with Mountain Roots, just give us a call and we'll help you design a day (or multi-day program) to meet your creativity and community needs!
